Laguna Brava Mexican

This is the best Mexican Food in the area. Up until recently the best place we had found so far was in Texas. When you can hear the sound of metal striking the flat grill you know the food is going to be the best you’ve had in a very long time. I had chicken fajitas and everything was fresh, veggies were crisp. We also had the Carnitas Gomez from their signature menu. I can hardly describe the melt in your mouth flavor they capture in this dish, but you can tell it has not been sitting in a warmer until we arrived. Fresh, hot, and fantastic. Simple, clean decor. Even the bathroom was very clean. Good service.The standard salsa was not very good. There was an unpleasant seasoning that threw the flavor off. My husband asked and got an x-spicey salsa that he liked better but was too hot for me. He had a chicken and beef burrito and liked it fine. I was not so lucky. I had chicken Verde enchiladas with beans and rice. The chicken had a distinct canned taste, with a little fishy undertone. The Verde sauce tasted like Hernandez brand, which wasn't terrible. Some jalapeños and sour cream helped. Overall it didn't taste like a single fresh ingredient was used in my meal. I've rated this on my husband's experience, not mine.

Service was fast, chips and salsa were perfect!! Steak anything (burrito, quesadilla, taco, etc. is the best!!

Food is very good! I got the steak fajitas and bacon jalapeño queso, both were delicious. We will be back!

Mom and I enjoyed their food, very good.The service was excellent. Could use more a lil more atmosphere.
