Returned again and absolutely no drop off in standards of either quality of cooking or service here. Front of house still perfect combination of professional friendliness and kitchen what can I say other than refer you to Aiden Waiting's excellent review below. He absolutely nails it. It's a small hard working restaurant working at the top of its game. If you're in the area make sure you get a table. Once again one of the best meals we've had for a long time.

My fiancee and I had the best meal of our lives at Lake Road Kitchen. The service, food, and atmosphere were impeccable. The intimate dining room and open kitchen really lends the feeling that you're having dinner in someone's home, and the care for detail gives the meal a truly personal feel. I recommend Lake Road Kitchen without reservation.

great eating even better staff. our waitress was very friendly and funny and the staff was very informed about eating and the wine. 12 courses later we were very happy. we're coming back.
