Lakeside Grill Celebration

About ten years ago this was an independent and operated boutique hotel. The decor was British colonial. The service was exemplary. They had a separate lounge and a formal dining room called Plantation Room. On Friday and Saturday evening, the lounge had a piano player, Jeff, who sang and took part in the crowd of music games. My wife and I were treated like a royal treatment on our first anniversary there. While we were in the lounge with Jeff's entertainment, the hotel manager had placed chocolate, bottle of champagne and rose petals in our room for free. Had a wonderful, relaxing weekday brunch here overlooking the lake, felt very safe. Staff wore masks, as did we when we were inside. Accommodated a gluten-free and vegan diet, even had a flourless chocolate cake for dessert. Bottomless mimosas for $16 was a bargain for two hours of drinking. Loved the peach cocktail and the food was well done. And after lunch, you can enjoy a relaxing walk around the lake, or enjoy Market Street shops.

My husband and I booked a last minute restaurant reservation while we were on the way to the restaurant. Parking was especially fair on a Saturday afternoon. Our entire culinary experience was wonderful. The food was amazing. I got the Pan Seared Snapper and my husband had the Pull Pork Sandwich. The groundless chocolate cake with ice was delicious. Worth the price and service. We would definitely visit this restaurant again!

I had a nice time to celebrate a friend's birthday. Had a lot of nice options to choose from, and the bottomless mimoses were nice to enjoy while sitting outside on the terrace. Brunch was delicious and will definitely be back!!

This on a recommendation from a nearby local. The hotel is picturesque and wonderful. Very eclectic. Had a wonderful intimate lunch, food was ok, staff was great.
