"In the small villages in Ardeche, most restaurants are closed at this time of the year. We had passed through Meyras on the way to Thuyets, which is a bigger town. We thought that being bigger meant beter choices, but there was nothing decent there. It was so bad that we decided to drive back to Meyras, where we had seen L'Alambic.
