Lalibela Ethiopian

this is our lunch when we are in the mood to drive to new haven. the half of their entire menu is native vegan without needing any change! The lunch buffet is the best value of $10 and everything you can eat. they always have at least 6 vegan options during lunch mon- sat. they also serve meat. eating is incredibly similar to a less spicy Indian eating. they can eat with their hands with injera brot (this is really good). that's one of our favorite restaurants we've been doing for years. there are street-side meter parking places that are sometimes difficult. if you drive down the road, right at the first light there is a decent parking garage. the personal was always friendly.

I love lalibela; they are one of my favorite restaurants in new haven. her injera is delicious and it is the perfect texture that the chew is so satisfying. they have tons of vegan options, and most of their vegetarian offers are actually vegan (minus a appetizer or two dessert). fosolia is my favorites, hands down. it's so good. ater kik is my least favorite, but I still eat it when it's in front of me. get the vegetarian combo with a date/friend and they probably still bring home rest. the personal is super friendly (although slowly) and the restaurant is always clean. expect them to go since it is new.

AmaaaaZing!!!!! The flavors and portions were on point! Customer service was great! The wrong plate was brought to us (accidents happen) they quickly fixed it without blinking an eye. The owner came around and chatted with us.the waitress was able answer our questions and suggest very good options for us. It was really nice. They made us feel like we were guest in their home. DEF coming back. Thank you Lalibela restaurant!

I love to eat a huge (veganes) Ethiopian hard and have done in many cities. lalibela is a part of the best Ethiopians I have ever tasted! the service is fantastic! at our last visit the owner came around and spoke to everyone table, just to check and say hello. great facility, one must have when in new haven! (four stars only because it is not completely vegan
