"We had the pleasure of an evening at L'Ardoise Gourmande, after seeing the favorable reviews on Trip Advisor.We were not disappointed, an excellent meal from the simple but varied menu. The food was always very nicely presented. We sat out on the terrace and the service was very good, and very friendly people. Really enjoyed the evening, and would visit again when in the area."

We decided to stop here for lunch while reading some trip advisor positive comments. And they were right. Nice place despite an ugly urban public works directly in front of the terrace. Simple and tasty meal, we had "onglets" it was very good. The boss and his wife or the contrary, the boss and her man where very nice to us, discussing with us, sharing some nice words about our region - Alsace- joking about the menu and some mistakes on their daily blackboard . Just some small talk but it makes the difference and feel you welcome. If they read this - and i know he is doing this- i hope they recognized us: Signed The Alsatian. PS: Forget about bad comments: they have no clue.
