Las Carretas - Reservar uma mesa

Me and friends decided to go to Las Carretas after reading the good reviews from here and Yelp. Our experience left lots to desire. The serving time (even for beer) was enormous. We waited about one hour for five plates of food and this was not even at rush hours. One of my friends almost took a bite at a plate that was served to him but at the very last second the waitress took it away because it belonged to another table. When food finally arrived it tasted like it all was pulled from a can and put on our plates. And to top the cake, when we were going to pay their card reader didn't want to take our cards and we had to go to an ATM for cash. Needless to say...we will never return. Stay wh...

No wonder,the restaurant was temporarily closed last year by the health department in Memmingen because the tenant and some of the employees had organised false Covid vaccination cards.The tenant at the time also had his licence revoked,this was known to the media and was also spread there.Whoever organises false Covid vaccination cards should be closed down,there is no understanding.The service and cleanliness leave a lot to be desired.The food is a disaster.Some of the food comes cold on the table,a complaint is pointless because the staff is little understanding towards the paying guests.McDonald offers better food and better service.

We had to stay in Memmingen one night en route back from a ski trip. For the five of us it was our last night together before flying home. We found this restaurant in the town centre, and we had a really good evening. You do not have to have mexican food, and what we had was excellent light, crispy nachos, tasty chicken wings, top class steaks all with efficient and friendly service. We drank decent spanish wine from Valencia, (our home region) and enjoyed a few cocktails at the bar afterwards. Next time in Memmingen for the night this is the place to go.

Not Mexican food. Is empty on the second floor and just few people beside the river waiting for food. Our waiting was 1 hour 15 mins for some burritos. Not even a Mexican food copy.

Food served after one and a half hours. One person served after all had eaten. Starters served after main course. Dreadful service in all of our business travel experience.
