We were staying at a hotel near Rue Mouffetard and after sitting in a plane for 11 hours we just wanted a quick bit. We walked past this restaurant and it seemed low key so we took a chance. We were in Paris for 4 nights with a plan of meeting our daughter who lives in Germany. The service was fantastic and Nadine made us feel so welcome. We started with onion soup and it was the best I've ever had. George shared his secret on how to make a creamy broth. I had steak and my wife had blanquette de Veau and both of us were delighted. in the beautiful district of the rue mouffetard this little restaurant is not unpleasant but we could wait for a better kitchen. a bath with the shallots too cooked (although the demand for stirring cooking) and where the taste of the shallots is barely found. The sauce is too peppery. a vanilla ice cream first price. But the extremely sympathetic bosses make us pass the pill. There must be better in the neighborhood.
