A lovely bakery in Westfield Doncaster<br/ <br/ The modern, open space creates a lovely aesthetic. As soon as you walk in you see a huge cabinet full of cakes, sandwiches, pastries more! There is also a lovely display of freshly baked bread along the wall. There are also many places to sit both inside outside the bakery.<br/ <br/ I got to try a wide variety of their food including a delicious meat pie which had super flakey pastry delicious filling. Their cakes are also amazing! I’m not 100% sure what the flavour was, but it was a special for the Melbourne Cup all elements of it were amazing from the chocolate mousse layer to coconut layer.<br/ <br/ The service are very attentive friendly!

The staff are always friendly and personable, and the service is always efficient. I have been back to visit several times because I always have a good experience here. Some of the wait staff even go above and beyond, which is refreshing. One offered to process a transaction for an additional item without making me line up again after I’d already sat down, whilst another had a bit of banter with me.

I love this place! I went to laurent since 2009. her service was always brilliant for me. I have to admit, since the pandemic started, this was my favorite coffee spot, as the level of professionalism and service was always there. Lifetime customer here: thank you.

Who doesn’t love some gold to go with their chocolate cake? Laurent’s chocolate cake is already such a winner that only a sliver of gold could take it up a notch. If you like your cake rich and moist, then this one ticks all the right boxes.

Dirty cutleries, cups, plates, there was a hair stand on the cake. Everything felt unsanitary, would not be coming back. Disappointed, as Laurent is reputable elsewhere.
