L'Aventure - Reservar uma mesa

We are periodic visitors to Paris. After a several trips without revisiting L'Avenue we had dinner there in may 2017. It is a happening, seen and be seen place i but the food is mediocre at best and overpriced and the attitude gives the French...a bad reputation which is NOT deserved The escargot were so salty we send them back. The manager came to the table and told us he tasted them and they were fine. The wait person having received an inquiry from an adjoining table of busy bodies proceeded to say negative things about us. We love Paris and its restaurants, this is not one of them. Beware.

we came to this bar restaurant late afternoon, no one there, but stayed for a drink anyway. we had two glasses white wine. when the bill came, I almost fell when my chair was. 22 euro, I said to the bar person that it was high and she said that this is paris! and scrub their shoulders. we had just a better bar on the main george w avenue, where better wein was 5 euro. do not worry about laventure on foot.

ordered thunfish shell as an appetizer: so; after that I thought to get a delicious dish: makkaroni with foi gras and truffle. I couldn't find it. only overcooked makkaroni with a thick layer cheese. only enough for a little child. extremely loud...music and high self-deserved waiter. I will not go back.

we visited this restaurant with “mistake” and it was one of the great mistakes we made in paris. eating is great. the cocktails are excellent if they like a decent restaurant, that is the one they are looking for. it's a bit expensive, but worth every penny.

we had an excellent dinner in laventure! excellent bark ribs and excellent service. thank you mariam! best service in paris. thanks from the finnish youngs!
