Le 404 - Reservar uma mesa

We booked this restaurant based on reading lots of good reviews about the food and atmosphere. There is one evening slot available at 7.30pm so everyone arrives at the same time. This means you might wait some time to be served as we were. The...place is beautifully atmospheric, lit with candles and soft light. However, the tables are extremely close together some shared. The seats are not the most comfortable either, so you do feel a bit hemmed in. The food was ok not as impressive as I had hoped. We had the fried parcels to start which were a little oily but the filling were good. I had a lamb tagine which was so hot it took about 10 minutes before I could even taste it! Location just a little north of rue du rivoli , quite central Ambience dim lights , Moroccan styled tables and furnishings ; has a classy feel. Service nice and friendly The food I had the Moroccan soup that had lentils, tomato...and lamb in it very tasty . For main, I had the lamb Tagine with the lamb cooked with prunes and raisins . The lamb was tender and the fruits added an interesting twist. I just wish there were more sauce in the dish! Wine I sampled the Moroccan Syrah which I thought was quite good. Overall , very enjoyable

We turned up with no reservation but we were welcomed. The set brunch menu was perfect portion and price wise! Service was fast and the food was absolutely amazing! I have never had Moroccan food before but thoroughly enjoyed what we were served here. I...do strongly recommend reserving a table

Fantastic ravine couscous. Very cozy and cool interior, delicious Moroccan food and wine! Had the lamb and vegetable ravines which were excellent and just like I’d had when in Morocco. The red wine was a surprise— so delicious.
