"Another example where Tavern Owners there is no need for quality food or service. The Cake Breton is store bought. The salad is a joke. There is no service or pride what is being served. On to of that it is really expensive."

We walked from the ferry to the town this restaurant was in and as we were exhausted we sat down outside it was the first place that we had come across. We had to order in the bar the first shock was the limited menu all on blackboard. The second shock was the prices 18 Euros for a basic main course and salad [a few leaves] and this was lunchtime. I asked for something off menu and was told not possible. I also asked for something suitable for our 9 yr old daughter and was told give her some potatoes off your plate! Service was non existent as you had to carry your tray of food across the road to the seating area. Another diner dropped his bottle of wine doing so.... We later discovered anot...
Similar to other visitors, our experience of this restaurant was very poor. The smoked salmon salad consisted of a few lettuce leaves and a couple of slices of very poor quality, unfresh salmon, leaving me with the worry that I would be suffering from food poisoning for the next few days. In the event we were all ok, but €17 for a 'meal ' like that was rediculous. It was awful, and wasn 't worth €1. The meagre bread basket had a few slices of stale bread in it (there were four of us). The service was non-existent. We will never return to this so-called 'restaurant '. Avoid it, as it 's a disgrace to French cuisine.
