Le Beizli - Reservar uma mesa

The menu is very special and small. Main courses are usually vegetarian. As a starter, we ordered a selection of tapas. Despite the Spanish name, we received a plate with more black-Italian dry sausage, Parmiggiano, a Swiss half-hard cheese, Pesto and a small tomato cake, not really what you expect from Tapas. However, the quality was good. We chose chicken breast with black lenses and vegetables as the main course. The chicken was served on a huge part of black lentils slightly enough for two people, but the vegetables you had to look for, because it almost no, a few slices of carrots in the lentils that were all. Located in a public building in Könitz, this unique kitchen is a must. Your uncomplicated approach to eating is very special. I had the 5 course surprise menu and that was excellent, service is very personal and tick all boxes at dinner. Wine selection is excellent and you can buy wine to take home if desired. A great evening everyone had in our group. You also have special events that I will visit safely in the future. Take the 17 bus from the city only 10 minutes and then 5 minutes walk.

Le Beizli offers the best food in the Bern area. You can either choose between a vegetarian or a meat option. Thats it. After you made this choice you can either eat everything on the menu or just a selected item both at a very reasonable price. The food is all fresh, mainly local and seasonal. It is mainly european cuisine but with international influences. The staff is always friendly and even though the location is a bit outside of the city center it is well worth a visit.

We decided to have lunch in the Le Beizli in Bern, Liebefeld. Reservation was done quick, the lady at the phone friendly. We both chooses the daily menu. Soup or salad tasted good and were fresh made. The main dishes tasted delicious. I would like to point out the friendly staff. We would come back with pleasure.

Set in a renovated industrial complex, the location in arty. The food was fresh, hommade and tasty, however not impressive. The staff was friendly but not very experienced. Would not reccomend for a romantic diner, but nice for an informal meeting. The retaurant is also a wine shop.
