J'aurai préféré satisfait comme titre,(Avis à TripAdvisor : entre moyen et très bon...il y a bon. Plus intéressant que horrible ou médiocre !)Je me suis rendu à ce resto en suivant les avis TripAdvisor comme presque tout le temps. Mais je ne peux pas confirmé le très bon ou excellent.Mangé le lendemain du 15 août. Réserver dans la matinée pour 12h45, on ne m'a pas demandé à quel nom.Arrivée pour 13h00 avec des excuses.Apparemment rien n'était retenu et il n'y avait plus de menus du jour.On nous a proposé charcuterie, frites, bavette. Crème brûlée et café.On a accepté.Et c'était bon.Les frites était Bonnes mais pas faites maison. On nous a expliqué que le cuisinier à été pris de court et pens...
When you drive up the A20 you can stop at a service station and pay up to €10 for a suspect sandwich or you can come off the main road and follow the signs for Village Étape to Éguzon Chantôme. Le Bienvenue is right next to the car-park in the centre of the village by the church. We visited at Sunday lunchtime. The bulk of the seating is outside, which was all taken. A good sign! A table for 7 was laid up quickly inside and then we had 20 minutes entertainment watching the two busiest waitresses I have ever seen literally running in and out of the kitchen! Our turn to order. Easy..... either or. No menus apart from the board outside. Out came the food; well cooked, fresh tasty. Finished off...
Wonderful meal from a fixed menu of the day . The food was fantastic .. a cheese and tomato pastry flan followed by a slow cooked pork loin served on seasonal vegetables with herbs, finishing off with a superb creme brulee. With half a carafe of wine and coffee all for €36 this was a truly splendid meal. We have paid more for a single meal in the UK that was nowhere near the standard of cooking shown here. We will be back ....
