Le Bistronome - Reservar uma mesa

Firstly, I don't know if this restaurant has moved since trip advisor listed it but the correct address is 62 Place Faramand not 2 rue Faramand. There is a difference. I know as we went to this restaurant twice because we liked it so much....They offer a la carte items and a daily set menu. The first night we ordered one menu and a la carte items. Because the food was so exceptional, we ate there again on our second night in Arbois and again one of us picked the menu and the other ordered a la carte. Everything from amuse bouche to digestiv was wonderful. Lots of interesting flavors and layers of little touches that make a meal very special. Excellent BOTH TIMES!!!

We came in on a sunny night in beginning of april. Our hotel had booked for us and we were given the best table in the restaurant. By a glass wall with a perfect view to the river than runs virtually 2 meters below us....So the setting was absolutely perfect. So was the dinner and the wine. I had pressed artichaux with a salad and a lovely dressing for a starter. And a wonderful trout with greens and risotto for main dish. My wife had snails for a starter and duck for main. We had a wonderful (quiet expensive but absolutely first class) redwine from a local producer. Simple a wonderful meal. We will definately go there again next time in Arbois

we had dinner on a beautiful summer evening in this restaurant. on the small terrace overlooking the river. we have decided to take the menu of the day and do not regret it in any way. the first curs was white bran and squid, a sublime combination. was pork with a cracking crust and the meat really damp. desserts a great combination of berries. only a wonderful three-course menu. service very friendly. beautiful that we have found this place and will eat there again, if in the opposite.

it would be difficult to find better eating and service, we had an amazing dinner in a beautiful environment with great service. friendly and informal. much more expensive than expected and very good value. a changing seasonal menu, magnificent deserts, the usual regional...cheese selection raised by a sublime vin jaune 'gelly' on the side.

Only open six months but the friendly and attentive team here served us a wonderful meal. The set three course menu was exceptional value really fantastic flavours throughout and decent sized portions. Lovely ambience too. Fine dining at a realistic price. Good luck Lisa...and Jerome!
