Le Bistrot Du Golf

We have a house walking distance from Le Bistro du Golf and we always really enjoy having our coffee or lunch here. The terrace is wonderful overlooking the golf course and when the weather isn’t suitable for eating outdoors it is lovely and relaxed indoors. The atmosphere generally is welcoming and relaxing. In the summer they have a lovely lunch buffet with a good, fresh and interesting range of hot and cold dishes. There are always the favorites like a fantastic club sandwich and fries, steak, or the platter of jambon and goats cheese salad. We came here after seeing best western gold sign We are so glad we did Small menu in French, so take you phrase or google for translate. If you don't speak French , fine with this Lovely terrace Waiter was ok, and we managed with little French and his little English Food was just gorgeous. My husband and two boys said best steak ever! And nothing has compared since I'm not sure opening times and so you would need to check this We tried to go back but it was closed Lovely

This is the restaurant of the Golf de l'Ardilouse and is run by the same people who has Tasca Bodega in Lacanau-Ocean. The lunch service at the club is great and is very popular with the golfers. Since the hotel Best Western next door does not serve lunch the bistrot du Golf can also be used by hotel guests. Good service, reasonable prices for very good food. And of course a view of the 9th and 18th holes.

Great food and reasonable value. We have had a number of lunches there but are disappointed with the main waitresses' attitude. We waited 15 minutes to pay and nearly walked out!!! We also had a long discussion recently about what a cappuccino was? We were informed we did not know what we were talking about Surely a little more civility would have helped. We were only paying customers!!!

We had lunch which was very nice. The omelette was very well made and portions size was good. They were very busy but still friendly. Would recommend for the menu du jour which looked very tasty.
