Had lunch here today and it was all fine until the first dish came, it was supposed to be a home made foie gras, which has probably been lying in the back corner of the kitchen for months. After we called the restaurant owner and the chef, who did not want to believe that the foie gras was just gone bad, they simply ignored the fact and did not even bother to apologize. However and luckily this was not counted in the bill. Strongly discourage people from going there, despite the nice scenery, the food is so so and the service is even worse.

We stayed from 12. of may to 14. We got exellent advice for hiking. Perhaps we came a bit early at spring time, but got a nice trip to Refuge de Cougourde and my daughter even met a «Alpesteinbukk» at the refuge. The food was very good, and the rooms too. But most all Jacques was an exellent host.

We were the only guests in the hotel that day, end of May. The dinner was heated in microvawe, even the pasta was not fresh. At breakfast the baget wad not in condition to eat, i would assume 2 or more days old.

We were served dinner as part of 1/2 pension at the hotel, and therefore had no choice what we would be served.
