We came across this by chance as we had visited under previous ownership and although it now looked "a bit special " for a quick bite following a walk we went in anyway as it was one of the French infamous national holidays and not much else was open.Oh boy where we glad we did , the atmosphere as relaxed but formal and although we were rather scruffy, dressed in walking boots etc we were nonetheless offered excellent service.The menu offered 3 entrees, 3 mains and 3 desserts - a smaller menu always suggests fresh ingredients and attention to detail to me !My wife and I ordered different choices for each course and we chose a bottle of wine from the ( inexpensive ) wine list.The pace of serv...

We were passing by Tulle and wondering were to eat. The first rated restaurant by trip advisor was "Le 7": they were not welcoming although they had plenty of free tables.We chose this one a that appeared to be a good surprise.I had farm egg for appetizer then porc shoulder.Simple descent food of good quality, well prepared. The atmosphere was calm and minimalist and staff welcoming.I recommend this place for a nice lunch.

What a lovely affordable lunchtime treat. Sumptuous, imaginative, attractive & gorgeous, sophisticated French cuisine (not overdone - you certainly do not leave hungry), Freshly cooked, local products a really lovely meal, and sensitive service.Thank You - 3 courses & an aperitif 62 euros. Highly recommended!
