Le Cafe de Gavaudun

after the visit of the amazing and very interesting castle we decide to have lunch with Saintic friends at the village cafe. And this, surprise! having seen the fecampo salad on the menu and being the team fecampoise I ask the boss the question! And oh surprise! The boss is my old neighbor. Unbelievable! lunch under the glycine in front of the castle is very pleasant. tomato and spinached chicken. Red fruit smoothie. and a wine of cahors quite correct. for 24€. which is quite reasonable. Long life at the gevaudun coffee!

On the occasion of our visit to gavaudun, we have lunch with family in this very friendly café-restaurant, offering dishes / plates with fresh products and served copied. a beautiful welcome in all simplicity and in bonus, an exchange with the chef. We especially enjoyed the lavender seed cake and lemon curb (speculoos, vanilla mascarpone and lemon cream.) all on terrace. a warm moment, with the pleasure of taking time in a preserved environment. a very good surprise!

I took my sister for a meal as a treat. Absolutely the worst meal of my life and I have had some pretty awful meals. Most of it inedible. Looked awful tasted even worse and we were both sick when we got home. Don't know how many times the veg has been warmed up but the best place for it was in the bin. Very expensive rubbish. I paid and left rather than embarrass my sister. Be warned and don't go there. No wonder we were the only 2 in there.

I feel this place has some good food but is very poor value for money. The setting is lovely and drew us in as we were hungry. The tables are situated under wisteria and had a pot of fresh mint on the table - nice...More

Really enjoyed a light lunch here, served with aplomb. Its good to see good professional practice in a quiet country location.
