Le Cafe de la Plage

Four of us - two adults and two children - went for lunch after a morning spent on the nearby Tyrolean adventure courses. The cafe was not busy, but in spite of drinks coming within minutes of ordering, we had to wait almost 40 minutes for an 'Italian' salad, half a dozen oysters and two portions of Burger and chips for the children. The oysters were fine - but they don't require any cooking - but the cook ( I do not believe he/she could be a real chef) decided to fry the mozzarella and serve it as a 'beignet' - nowhere was this mentioned on the menu, plus the salad itself had much too much pesto on it. The childrens' burgers were served with masses of salad with a very sharp balsamic dressi...

it was ascension week end so we booked the table in advance in order to sit outside ; it is quite pleasant in front of the beach .The dining room is also quite pleasant , trendy decoration and excellent music ( on that evening at least ) ; friendly welcome although the waiter tends to yell a bit too much to his colleague, so a bit too noisy . food is excellent we all had burgers , meat of good quality and tasty dressing ; choice of wines is fine . Prices quite reasonalbe.

The opinions are like... everyone has it, but for us today very good discovery. Indeed a little time but the view on the beach and the carousel is very pleasant and makes the good company also wait nicely) and the quality does not prepare in 5 minutes. Beautiful plates, very nice staff. Bravo to you and the pleasure of finding homemade dishes in restaurants. Back up.

Excellent seaside restaurant. No much choice on the menu, a good presage that confirmed the tasting. All dishes are homemade as well as accompaniments (frites, salad, vegetables, sauces, etc. In short, with a warm and smiling welcome! Come on.

On 1st of August we had a delicious meal. Fish cooked to perfection. I had oysters to die for to start. The staff were so helpful, our waiter had lovely cheeky smile all night. Can't wait to go back.
