We went to this lovely little restaurant for Sunday lunch and are so glad we made the effort. It 's one of those places that as soon as you go in, you know you 've made the right choice. We received a warm, courteous welcome from the incredibly young waiter (on work experience surely? , the smells coming from the kitchen were enticing, the diners already seated all looked happy and were tucking in to what seemed to be delicious food. In addition to an à la carte selection there were two set menus and we opted for the Menu Harmonie Gourmande at €28.90 for four courses. Initially I were unsure to visit Le Carabi but when I arrived I knew I had made the right decision. If you're looking for authentic French food, Le Carabi is the place for you. Both the menus were varied and were priced well. For starter I had a crab pâté, main duck breast with a pepper sauce and dessert a crème brûlée. I could hardly fault the food (although the crème brûlée was a little overcooked and slightly rubbery). The pâté was smooth and creamy and the duck was deliciously tender. A chaque passage à l'heure du déjeuner, nous ne manquons pas de nous arrêter au Carabi. Nous avons découvert ce petit restaurant (oui c'est petit et il faut donc réserver)il y a quelques mois et c'est en quelque sorte notre cantine. Produits frais cuisinés à la minute, deux petits serveurs apprentis très agréable et une patronne aux petits oignons.Place ne n° 1 sur trip méritée, surtout pour sons rapport qualité prix.

En Vendée pour quelques jours, nous avons adoré la cuisine de ce petit restaurant. Tous les plats étaient délicieux et surprenants, nous ne nous attendions pas à ça en commandant (légumes, composé de tomates et mozzarella). Je vous recommande fortement d'aller savourer cette cuisine !

Lovely local restaurant serving beautifully prepared French food. Very reasonable and lovely menu choices. This is a family run restaurant the husband is the chef and his wife looks after front of house. If you are holidaying in the area it’s well worth a visit. Gorgeous food
