after having booked a table on terrace .on learns when we arrive that there is no more table available. even if the boss had confirmed that there was no problem ok no worries. afterwards we learn that other people we had the same worries . so it was just to welcome as many people as possible ! but in this case we have to make sure as much as in the service and in the kitchen ... afterwards we order mussels (I had already warned the boss to the reservation ..) to be said there is no organisation or at the level of reservations or at the level of service and I think that in the kitchen they can not follow either .... while they only stand to open the terrace ... to avoid they do not make sure....

very good table, in the warm atmosphere of its cellar where on its pleasant and large terrace, this restaurant offers typical regional dishes including the original Alsatian flambée pie, (the real) a feast, the best of all the northern aisle for me but also a well-equipped map and seasonal suggestions! the passion of the chef in the work of his products is felt in his plates! a gustative pleasure in every passage! sometimes a bit of waiting yes, despite a dynamic team this restaurant makes room combles every weekend in summer! Used to discover new table regularly, I prefer a larger waiting and be satisfied then rather than eating frozen dishes shipped in 10 minutes!

adept of good restaurants I had the opportunity to enjoy the gustative pleasures of this wonderful restaurant!from the exit village to roppenheim for a shopping trip, we ended the day for the pleasure of our taste buds and we loved!!! a flambée tart just exceptional cooked with wood fire under our eyes and a homemade dough, a rare and appreciated combo! the best flambée pie we ate, and yet it's not missing in alsace. a fine and crispy homemade dough, an absolutely delicious cream cooked with wood fire. the boss and the very friendly staff and the little plus offered by the house at the end of the meal. a small flat on the decoration of the upper room that lacks a little warmth and conviviality, but otherwise everything was perfect, and we will come back with great pleasure to taste the other specialties.

We waited 1h45 to have our meal that was just a torched pie. No organisation, the servers come several times to take command while it was already done.After 1:15 we are told that 'the machine didn't take the order, but now it will be prepared in emergency'!Other customers left without eating, and others said they will not return again.
