Le Chardon - Reservar uma mesa

We were on our way from Toulouse to Mirepoix, we were hungry, there was nothing on the main road except for dreadful filling station cafés, and it was after 2pm. We were obviously in danger of missing lunch altogether, so at random we took the exit for Montgiscard and discovered Le Chardon right in the middle of this very sleepy town. But they had two of the day's specials left...veal, and some string beans, all for €9.80. Not the best meal I have ever had, but totally satisfactory and very reasonable, with friendly service. What's not to like?

This restaurant is incredible, the food is so good you never leave hungry, the dishes are well presented, the fries are excellent and the welcome is great.
