Le Cheval Blanc Hotel Restaurant

I had decided to take the old road for the first half of the day but by lunch time I was really tired, saw a sign Le Cheval Blanc 1 KM , and pulled in. Looked very French and pretty dead from the outside but I was needy. Was greeted inside by the most charming lady who in French and mime explained the set-up, and went to the kitchen to show me the dish of the day. The place was spotlessly clean, you could see through to the kitchen, Le Patron was behind the bar as freshly scrubbed and pink as the rest of the place, typical checked table cloths. We were here for lunch and it was a very pleasant one. Good food. Good buffet. Good service. Nice location. Friendly staff. Good value. I recommend it.
