Le Clos de Chevreuse

Chevrese is a very charming small town about 30 kilmometers from Paris. This little restaurant is in the centre of town. An old fashioned fireplace greets you as you walk in and the host owners are gracious and friendly. The menu is classic northern French...cuisine and each dish is beautifully presented. Between the four of us we enjoyed oysters, home made terrine, jugged hair, millefeuille of scallops, home baked bread and a delectable selection of cheese and desserts. If you're in the area it's worth seeking it out.

beautiful and cost-covering spaces in the middle of a beautiful medieval village. the staff is polite and efficient. nice menu plus also some la carte dishes after the days. it was good with many aromen and definitiw fresh products. for me the Thai...Tartare was missing something kick like ingwer, garlic, lemongrass and chili, but was good, and the risotto was good, but also would have been better with saffron or garlic. very nice wine card with a choice and for all budgets.

the lunch on the terrace was very nice. the food was delicious and beautifully presented. the terrace was full on a Monday afternoon in august. we had to wait 30 minutes at the beginning to order, but as soon as we had ordered, everything followed in time. I'll go.

they can depend on an excellent meal for a reasonable price. a wonderful man woman team serves beautiful eating with good wein recommendations. the terrace garden is very pleasant.

for lunch. the presentation of the dishes was very nice and they were delicious! service was good and fast) sad we did not try their weeping, but the weeping list was really good.
