It was such a disappointment that the Clubhouse did not live up to our expectations considering that the Domaine is in a beautiful setting with the chateau. The food was not at all to our expectations. For instance, the Cesar's salad was not what it is supposed to be the sauce was missing, there were mushrooms ! and the romano lettuce was chopped into bits with a few thin slices of parmesan. As for the tartar steak, it was well seasoned but the sauce and chips looked industrial. Thank goodness that the margarita was good! All in all, it was overpriced for the kind of food one would find in any average bistro in France, and the service was not pleasant.
Staying at the Domaine, we booked in for dinner despite one or two mixed reviews. The staff were friendly, helpful and shared a few jokes. The meal was very good quality and cooked as requested. We were not rushed and neither were the waiters slow in serving us. As usual, the drinks always look expensive but that didn't stop us! As there is a wide choice of different foods you can budget accordingly. In truth, after one starter mine) two main courses, three small glasses of wine and two coffees I came away thinking 60ish euros £55) was pretty good.
for the second time I had lunch at this restaurant taking in and dish from day to day to euros. The dishes were very well with good products (although my companion's bar net did not seem to have the same fraicher as mine) and seasonings and accompaniments very well. very efficient and quite satisfactory service. the frame is actually very pleasant. a la carte it was proposed a beef rib for euros!!!Break a very good set of prices that remain high.
For such a good hotel this part of the set-up is unexciting. As residents for a few days we ate here one evening and once after golf. The snack after golf was ok – we shared a refrigerated club sandwich from the limited menu. The dinner menu was limited and maybe I didn’t choose so well. My mixed seafood starter was fine, as was my peach melba dessert. The braised beef steak main course was not to my liking along with its overcooked chips. Reserve uma mesa agora
As a brasserie goes it's not bad but after eating in the main restaurant it's a bit of a come down! Thar said, the (limited) menu is perfectly adequate, reasonably priced and the service is just as good. It loses out a bit because of the limited range of dishes but that is mainly made up for by the relaxed and informal atmosphere and outside tables.
