Le Coin Des Halles

Saturday lunch time in cold, wet January and practically all the restaurants were closed. We found this place on TripAdvisor and weren't disappointed. Very busy and cramped probably due to the fact that so few places were closed. Despite this, the staff were polite and welcoming. We sat at the rear of the restaurant with MANY other diners. We chose le menu du jour which was roast pork....yum yum! Sensibly priced delicious food served by keen and pleasant waiters.

We enjoyed a lovely two hour lunch here, sitting outside in the sunshine. We chose the entree du jour, plat du jour and dessert, all for an incredible 16 euro. All three courses were well presented and beautifully cooked. The staff were friendly and efficient. Would recommend to anyone looking for good French food at reasonable prices.

Nestled in a small corner, with an understated menu, there is a tiny venue. First and only outward clue is that it is heaving with the French. Visit, eat and drink. It has ambience, the food is absolutely superb, well produced but the presentation is up there with the best I have seen. Can’t recommend highly enough

We loved our lunch here. The local menu did us proud and the service (Brigitte) good. Just a short walk from the cathedral on a quiet city street we would not hesitate to eat there again.

We went as a group of 9 for lunch last week. Good choice of two dishes of the day (one fish) at good price. The service was quick and friendly.
