Centrally-located just off the main square down a sweet alleyway, this courtyard restaurant was a real find as we'd been coming to Lons for the last ten years but had failed to do proper research on where to eat. Thanks to Trip Advisor, we've just enjoyed a GREAT meal and can't wait to return next year.We each ordered a main dish and a dessert. A croustillon de cabillard, a fish freshly-caught from the sea. The croustillon was three pieces of fish en croute with a broccoli puree a fresh tomato emulsion. Many flavour dimensions, the fish fleshy and delicately-flavoured. Another lovely meal in this hidden away courtyard delight of a restaurant. Locally souced veal escalope encased in baked Comte cheese, carrot puree, accompanied by a dish of courgettes, pommes de terre au vapeur and tomato, washed down with an excellent Alsace Riesling. Exceptional desserts fresh local apricots surrounding an apricot sorbet cube,on a sable biscuit (melt in the mouth pastry) and a pistacchio Chantilly or a panna cotta with a side dish of fresh mango sorbet. Friendly, unobtrusive service.
Invités en famille, nous avons passé une bonne soirée avec un personnel comprenant l'humour (il en faut avec une équipe d'anciens) et des plats originaux, copieux et bien cuisinés. Personnellement, j'ai apprécié le risotto aux gambas, et mon épouse a choisi la tarte fine aux filets de rouget : rien à redire. A lire certains commentaires, il y a une bande de pisse-froid ou de "collègues" bien intentionnés ! Dommage que la "Galerie Lecourbe" soit si mal signalée !
Entre midi et deux pour un repas entre collègues c'était parfait avec la formule buffet. Des entrées variées, un plat du jour excellent, et des desserts variés également. Pour les grosses ou petites faims il y en a pour tous les goûts pour moins de 15€.La décoration est sympa, le cadre agréable... je conseille !
