LE COMPTOIR STEAK HOUSE

I was here a few times, for steaks. this time we ordered a medium entrecôte and 2 bavette d’aloyau (a well made, a rare one). everyone done to perfection and really delicious. the chips are slightly thin and soggy, but well presented. in small wire baskets. I also like the selection in her café-gourmand, try for dessert. le comptoir is friendly, cozy in cooler weather, cheap and one of our favorite places in the city.

We went here twice during our holiday and enjoyed both visits. Waitresses on both occasions were great and understood what we were asking for (in English). The food was great and served very quickly, can recommend the Mussels and the Burgers. Prices were very reasonable...and not too busy on either occasion we were in. Would definitely go back if ever in Lacanau in future. Forgot the desserts were great as well.

1. the good even big bits. the service was wonderful, as the decoration wine list was good and the deserts were good. Unfortunately, the main course was up to the same standard, the ripp of bark meat tasted fine, the... sauce was good and the fön fries, but unfortunately the meat was hard as old boots a bit shame for a steakhouse. surprisingly this is arranged

this place must have a new metzger since the 2016 reviews. the deocote was as thin as the soles of my boots and so hard. chips must have been fried four times, they were so dark. salat garnish was at least an hour. before! sauce was ok. maus au chocolat was good, service was freendly, will not be back

incredibly bad quality. lachstare no taste, really badly. even the fries are terrible. avoid them at any price.
