Le Duguesclin - Reservar uma mesa

We went to le duglescin for New Year's Eve lunch. The special menu was very appealing and for a seafood lover like me, that's the kind of place I really crave for; mussels, shrimps, fish! All absolutely delicious and well prepared. The decor is outdated but the sea view is so breathtaking that you are forgetting the not so trendy painting and furniture. A must for seafood lovers!! And for a seat next to the sea!!!

This is a hotel restaurant but exceptional in all regards. Family owned and managed and exceedingly customer-centric. Overlooks the harbor with large glass windows (open in summer). Food is universally good and fresh off the boat. I have eaten there for 20 years and never had a less than great experience.

This restaurant is just average. The service need to talk and understand English because the people that come and order food can't all speak French. But this isn't the only restaurant in this country that has this flaw. And this restaurant don't have a kids menu that I see as big flaw.

We had a lovely meal here in June. The dining room is either pretty or dated depending on which of us you ask. :-) The fish special a la normande was delicious and my dessert was probably the prettiest plate I've ever received. Great ocean views!

Amazing stay, we got room 6 and the view was amazing. The breakfast was also great, loved the fresh croissant and coffee.
