Le First - Reservar uma mesa

Friendly and helpful staff, we sat in the garden with lots of space (surprising for a Saturday evening) perfect for us two adults and two Labrador dogs. We didn't expect the food to be great, but Le First surpassed our expectations. We had the set menu of 3 courses all of which were excellent. I had calamari to start which although slightly overdone, the sauce and salad were great. My Husband had the meat platter (charcuterie) which was so good he wouldn't share any! I had the home made chicken stir fry for main and Husband had Cheek of Beef confit which melted in your mouth. Desserts were also fab ice cream filled profiteroles and tarte du jour strawberry tart yum! Very good value for money...

We had a bit of difficulty choosing and a query with the children's menu. The blonde middle aged waitress was impatient, rude and was huffing and rolling her eyes whilst taking our order so we walked out. What makes it worse is that I think she might have been the manager! Shame she spoilt the experience because the terrace setting was lovely and all the other younger staff seemed nice. She tried to make some excuse regarding her behaviour about us being late for the table but there's no excuse for her rude attitude. We had already checked the reservation was still OK and the restaurant was half empty

As in the title, great location particularly when being serenaded by a local musician. Food is good, but not exceptional. Overall a pleasant experience

Really delightful service and good food and very good with the kids! Lovely setting by the marina so is scenic but secluded

I really don’t know why there are good opinions here. None of our dishes (8 people) was even ok. I do not recommend.
