I ate there last night, the kitchen is good but not very refined. I've never seen this before. I chose fish just so I wouldn't eat fries.

"This is in a great location by the weir and it’s fun to sit on the bar stools and watch the canoeists and swimmers in the L’Aveyron River. This could be a great place but it is a bit too laid back for my taste. Friendly service, average range of meals but it’s all a bit down at heel. Meze style starters are tasty. A good spruce up would make it very special. I recommend mosquito spray if you visit in the evening. Helpful?"
