Le Jardin des Dunes

Last day of holiday and we are moving closer to Cherbourg with a lovely day in Mont St Michel and the a chance discovery of the gorgeous Camping Municipal with a beautiful view of the the Abbey and the Baie and a restaurant to boot...to enjoy our last night in France. Wife popped over to bag a reservation- they don’t do reservations you just turn up. Turned up and were seated outside with a cracking view of the Abbey. Waitress is an absolute delight as is maitre(s?)d who was probably the owner. They didn’t do much English but by now our French was at its best. we were close to the restaurant, and we had fought to find somewhere open to the time. we had looked at the pizza restaurant in the city and said that pizzas from this evening would be available, the...time wasn't working for the life of me that you did! we went back to our room with our friends and saw the internet for local places to eat. we found le jardin des dunes and went for a walk to find it. at the arrival we had to wait minutes to get a place, but that was ok. we were out in the tent extension and had a look at the le mont son michelle who was great. the menus are not extensive, but are ok. we ordered pizza and drinks that were all very nice. pizzas are big, so warned. beautiful am...

This place was a real find after a disappointment the day before. Beautiful position right overlooking the beach and Mont St. Michel. Not an extensive menu but the food was excellent especially the fish soup. The service was very good, the staff were great and...we thought it was very good value and couldn’t understand the negative reviews. We shall definitely visit again before we go home.

nice eating with a great view of the mont Saint-Michel. the menu is regular. the big salesman here is the mush. apart from this pizza and some salads on the menu. price very reasonable. good value for money. I would be back for the look and relaxed. atmosphere the crew is very friendly.

Went here for a pizza today. Took more than for them to make a pizza. Other tables got their pizza within half an hour. After mentioning this to one of the waiters, he became very unfriendly. Would not advise this restaurant to anyone.
