Le M - Reservar uma mesa

This restaurant is divided into two parts, one attached to the hotel and the other across the road on the sea front. We dined at the latter one September evening and both had the three course menu at 31 euros. The food was good but the service was slow. The main reason for this was that there was generally only one person in attendance and he had to carry the dishes across the road to the main restaurant where the kitchen was situated. So at times there was no member of staff present. Having said that, the view of the sea was worthwhile and the overall experience was pleasant.

We stopped in to break up a long bike ride, grab a snack and drink a beer on a warm day. They have a seaside outdoor patio and one that is sheltered, these are across the street for the main Restaurant. We ordered several Tapas dishes, which were tasty and some beers. I went inside the Restaurant to use the facilities and it looks modern, pretty and new inside. The main menu looked good as well. Stunning view in good weather.

Think the title says it all really. The location of the restaurant is fine, but the service was decidedly poor, the food was decidedly average and there was nothing really to commend this place.Les Viviers is a few yards up the road, is cheaper, has better food and better service. L'Ecailler is in the next port, is really only marginally more expensive, but blows this place out of the water in every dimension!

We parked and had coffee before moving on around the island and returned for lunch however as by 1 o/c the temperature was nearing 37 degrees we decided to site inside!The menu selection was to our liking and the food was good and well presented. The service faultless.In our opinion a convenient and and good lunch stop over .

The food was good although the fish was a bit too cooked for my liking. And service was slow and rather unfriendly, to quite agressive when I asked why we were waiting that long for our coffees. Would not really recommend.
