Le Melisse - Reservar uma mesa

We were wandering around with a friend a few days ago and went to le Melisse for lunch. In short, the food was very tasty, the service was excellent and pleasant, and the decor was pleasing. The food is prepared by a person or persons who must take pride in their cooking. They have a decent wine list and comfortable seating. There is not much to say, since the above says it all. However, I understand that they have a buffet on certain days and if it is as tasty and well-presented as our lunches were, then I think it could be a good find. We recommend it for meals above the ordinary, but not too highly aimed for just about anyone's palate.

We were a little apprehensive as we do not speak French but wanted a proper french evening meal. We did not need to worry as we were put at ease, as soon as we arrived, by our host for the evening. We took a stab at ordering, the menu obviously in french. What we had was delicious, two courses for €26. The appetiser and free after dinner shot were nice extra touches. Thank you

On our last day we were looking for real french brunch and found Le Melisse. Excellent selection of food and great staff! Prices were fair and had a cozy atmosphere for breakfast. Well worth the walk from our hotel.

We found Le Melisse after a long day travelling, and were so glad we went in, the food is of a very high standard, professionally prepared and served, coupled with a good wine list, we had a lovely evening.

It is a small buffet but very very good, the service was very good too. Nice location and convenient.
