Le Montagnard - Reservar uma mesa

14 of us came to this very popular traditional Savoyard restaurant for dinner on our chalet team’s night off. We all loved it. There were loads of comments about how delicious the food was, how lovely the wine was (my choice… , how atmospheric the interior was and how kind and friendly the staff were. All our food came at the same time, even though the restaurant was full, and no one had a bad dish. Truly magnificent!

We were delighted to enjoy such a wonderful lunch for our group of 6 on the sunny terrace. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and we enjoyed a fantastic lunch, including the daily special, and a couple of magnums of delicious local wine. This is a great location if you are staying in or skiing to St Martin and we are very happy to highly recommend it to you!

This a really lovely little, cosy restaurant with excellent food and great service from 2 charming waitresses. It was, almost, faultless. Only let down by the group of 12 British guests next door to us. They were so loud we could barely have a conversation. Given the size of the restaurant, and acoustics, maybe they should limit groups to 8 people maximum?

The scenery is typical of the region, i.e. savoyard. The varied and appetizing map, local products. An ideal place to rest your legs at the lunch break. Only flat, the customers are fairly tight (each square metre is stabilized and a little expensive as usual in this type of restaurant, but climbing the products at altitude is not free.

Been coming to this little gem for 15 years and despite the revamp it’s still brilliant. Great food and great wine in a magical location.
