Le Montreize - Reservar uma mesa

Another must visit restaurant in Vichy. This was our second after two years and it is still a little treasure. We recommend that you book, especially on a Monday, as many other restaurants are closed, and also try and go a little earlier than normal say 6.30/7.00. It can get busy and there can be delays in your food arriving however whatever you order it will be worth it. The burgers (local variation definitely not your typical ones) are a must. We will return.

Went there with a friend for dinner one evening. Tasted some good cheese to start the meal, continuing with a good beef, and to end it all we tasted a french dessert called Profiterole . The cheese and food was delicious, le profiterole was good also, but not what we expected. Staff was great, answered us when we asked for advice on what to do in Vichy. A bit disappointing that they don 't serve local beer, only Heineken. All in all a good experience

Delightful simple restaurant in the shadow of St Basil's cathedral. We arrived in Vichy after a long drive from Provence, so required an early dinner before the next leg of our trip home. Recommended by the Hotel de Grignan (separate review), we were warmly welcomed and treated to delicious, simple French cuisine, together with house wine. Inexpensive, c.€55 per head. Well worth it

This restaurant was a great find, around the corner from our hotel. The food was excellent. The service was with a smile. The wine was local as were the general punters. Good price as well. Worth the visit.

15 euros for the main dish. No starter, but good desserts. Local food all the way ! Local wines as well. Good small restaurant. You better call ahead and have a reservation.
