Le Mugel - Reservar uma mesa

I am on vacation and my family got together from all over the world. We had the best time ever, the scenery is amazing. The service for a French restaurant that does not have Michelin star is actually very good, fast and friendly (for French standard, excellent) ! The food is amazing, simple and fresh fish! Make sure to bring cash because it is cash only! The desert are fantastic as well, for a restaurant next to the water (it feels like we are on the water with the set up) it is a great quality! I highly recommend !

I would have liked to say we enjoyed visiting this place, it’s a cute little beach with a gorgeous view. We arrived at La Ciotat mid-afternoon so decided to stop for drinks and dessert, we were seated fairly quickly. When the waiter came to take our order and realized we weren’t there for lunch he abruptly sent us packing. We’re still not sure if we were being unreasonable or just caught someone on a bad day but it’s unlikely we’ll return.

We live locally and always take visitors to Restaurant du Mugel as a stunning introduction to La Ciotat. The food is reliably excellent fresh, tasty and presented with enthusiasm. The staff are competent and professional, even at the busiest times. We have never had a bad time here.

Tremendous good location by the beach at parc Mugel (go first to the top for a good view and some climbing). Unpretentious staff, some shirtless, which goes for the clientel as well. Good sardines and fishpudding a la Marseille. A relaxed and Nice break from the sun. Cash only..

Friendly service, amazing location. Had sardines and frites, house wine and 2 puddings. All were quickly served, good value and very fresh. Highly recommended. View is free.........
