Le Patara - Reservar uma mesa

We stumbled across this small restaurant by accident when visiting cellar doors in the area. Tucked away, the restaurant is plain on the outside as well as the inside. There is a daily menu which I opted for and wasn’t disappointed. Entree was bouchée a la reine (mushroom and chicken in a white sauce served in puff pastry). Main was sautéed salmon with a huge dish of pasta. There was a good selection of wines by the glass at very reasonably priced. Service was prompt and polite.

We went with our 6mth old and 5year. Arriving just as they open for dinner at 7pm the terrace was full within 20 mins. We had the escargot, 5yr enjoyed the Steak Hache and ice cream on the Menu Enfant. Adults had the burger and Lamb Shank both were delicious and portion size is big. The pizza s also looked amazing from a wood fire oven and large. A great little find in a quaint location near the church with bells every hour. Recommended. They have a high chair.

So welcoming, rustic and the food was lovely. Pizzas looked lovely but we went for a delicious sharing board . Water brought out without asking. 2 waiters working very hard , polite and professional. Lovely experience after a long drive from UK

We arrived here without knowing anything about the Patara and it was a great experience: nice food, excellent wine, friendly service, good prices. We would recommend and return.
