Le Petit Flaubert - Reservar uma mesa

Unless you enjoy lots of fat and gristle on a cold plate I recommend you not to go for the entrecote. It is certainly not worth the 22€ given it is served with a tasteless baked potato and just green salad. The silly Laguiole steak knife could not deal with the fat and gristle which, together with a cold plate made for a less than enjoyable experience. As follow up I had a Plat de fromages which was not better. Suspisciouly looking like the local hypermarché 's 'offre speciale ' it did no justice to the magnificence of Norman cheese. Away from the touristy places in this part of Normandy was this excellent restaurant. Far more than a crêperie there is a good range of lunchtime offerings: we had a galette with scallops and a substantial Savoyard galette. Both very tasty. Friendly service. Recommended.

Our family of seven thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Le Petit Flaubert. We arrived early in the evening with no reservation and were accommodated on the patio. The owner and staff were very friendly and patient with our terrible French, and the food was delicious.

Visiting the Church in Douvres and passed this restaurant. Returned for lunch and glad we did. Friendly host, lovely surroundings and tasteful decorated. Extensive menu of salads, galleries, meats and fish. Perfectly cooked and presented. Highly recommended.

If you want to discover local food, in a nice local restaurant. This is the place. Not very touristic but excellent food a t reasonable price. a great choice
