Le Pichet 3 Restaurant-Boutique

We arrived late In Chartres, but were delighted to be able to get a table for dinner for 2. A wacky little restaurant, with eclectic decor. The food was really lovely, we had the famous Henri 1V poule which was delicious. Wines are a reasonable price, service excellent, so much so that on our way back up to Calais, we came back in for lunch. Highly recommend.

Great relaxed atmosphere. Small, varied menu. Always something veggie and all plates can become smaller, children’s size. Delicious desserts too. All home-made.

We arrived around noon, then many customers came. Just 2 ppl working but they are very gentle. Very good local restaurant!
