"Not what you would expect from a Michelin restaurant. The service is relatively slow, glasses remain empty for a while, and the cuisine is quite bland in comparison to other restaurants in the area. An extremely average meal. Price is expected. But I have had much better Michelin food."

It is not cheap but worth a visit. We had a menu at 62€ per person with a complimentary amouse bouche as well as complimentary petit fours at the end. The tomato with lobster as starter was well presented and the lobster really tasty. Really original the presentation of the foie gras my wife took. The monkfish less spectacular in the presentation but really good in taste. My bull steak as main course really tasty. Really good as well as the homemade bread rolls: especially the thyme/lemon one. My dessert (apricot variation) also well presented and tasty while the chevre plate of my wife too basic if compared to the other plates. For sure an experience to recommend. We booked it because of the Michelin guide mark and had fairly high expectations. Unfortunately the dishes did not live up to the expectations. It is clear that ambitions are high and the place looks beautiful. Likewise the service was great. Unfortunately the food was not especially good. The dishes were very sweet even the starter and main course and did not match the ambition that the price dictated. We had the small menu for about approximately 59 euro and were disappointed with the value for money. We really liked the service and the atmosphere, and are sorry that we cannot give a better review.

The delicious food and excellent service justified the high prices. We started with a cider and a sweet muscat. We were given three complimentary starters (chickpea mousse, sea urchin and corn cake) and a complimentary zucchini soup. These were all very good. Our entrees were asparagus with trout and langoustine tart. Our mains were veal with asparagus and lamb with vegetable pie. Both meats were so tender. We didn’t have dessert but I had a coffee which arrived along with some petit fours for both of us.

We dined at this lovely restaurant on a quiet night and consequently were fortunate to be able to enjoy a very personalized service throughout the evening. We ordered the seven course “Plaisir Gourmand” menu and were glad we did, as each course was a delight. It is hard to understand why the restaurant does not have a Michelin star.
