We were a bit skeptical, considering the limited menu and the slightly out-of-the-way location (just outside the city center, but a very short walk away. Our meal turned out to be one of the best ever. For a first course we had shrimp with marinated zucchini (courgettes in French. Just perfect. A neighboring diner had the perfect egg poached sous vide, which we might try on our next visit. For a main course we had dos de cabillaud (cod enrobed in tomato, which was more than perfect. And for dessert, there 's a buffet (not self-service with 6 wonderful choices (rhubarb-strawberry compote, a chocolate cake, an almond cake, pot de creme de chocolate, lingots de coteau de Layon, and vanilla crea...
