Le Rempart - Reservar uma mesa

Small local, family run, cafe/restaurant with excellent food and service (being small busy place service can be a bit slow for US standard, but fine and relaxed by Fr. standard). Customers are all local folks and groups from neighboring towns. Lunch is a good value (I think 14 Euros for 3 course meal), dinner is a la carte but also a good value. The menu changes daily. They have very good selection of deserts I think are made by the patisserie across the street. They do get busy enough to turn away clients by 13:30 for lunch and 20:30 for dinner, plan ahead! Some dishes from the region are organ meats and may not appeal to all, but they can offer a substitute.
