Le Roi Carotte - Reservar uma mesa

my man and I spent ten days in the dordogne, Frankreich mitte mai. the owners of the gite we had rented had recommended le roi carrote as restaurant to try in the opposite. it was one of the best restaurants we tried while we were in the dordogne. it was a bit difficult to find, as it was a little out of town, but we're worth the search. very beautiful decoration with a large fireplace to warm us from the rain outside. the food was beautifully presented, plentiful and especially delicious! the homemade suppe, which was the first cure and presented in a large tureen, was fabulous – a meal for itself. the service was friendly and helpful with our limited French. would highly recommend.

We were a group of 11 adults who bike road from Sarlat to this restaurant. It was very pleasant with good country food. We had pumpkin soup that was excellent, salads, entrees ranging from trout amandine to pork loin and then dessert. Fixed price was...25 Euros which was well worth it! This is not gourmand type food and the service is typical for rural France....leisurely, but not slow nevertheless for it's type of restaurant it was 5 stars!

Le Roi Carotte at Julien-de-Lampon was a very positive experience. We biked here on a lovely paved pathway and arrived just in time for lunch. Really nice lunch (Burger and goat cheese sallad). The service was really friendly and helpful. Great lunch in the French...countryside.

fabulous rustic eating fine local farewell, beautiful swetting, beautiful service. highly recommended if they want to be “from the beaten away!
