Le Rouf - Reservar uma mesa

We visited Le Rouf for lunch; at this time of year, this is open lunchtimes only every weekday except Thursdays, until about the end May early June when open some evenings as well. it is very popular hence it is wise to book. Parking on the roadside here can be a bit fiddly, particularly in high season when there is a lot of congestion (leave extra time for travel) but it is easy to park about 100 m before on the right by the bus stop. We had the 15.50€ menu; there was no à la carte menu at this time; many restaurants do a 15.50€ lunch menu I think Napolean decreed that all citizens should have access to affordable food at lunchtime. Menu has three choices of starter, main course and desert...

This little wonder was so good myself and my friends went twice. The first time we went we didn't get in and had to book. The €15 menu is incredible good value. I thought the lady of restaurant got the bill wrong as she did not add the wine, however the wine was included. A had a tuna tartlet which was very nice. The second visit I had the €25 which was also very good. The fish soup was delicious, although my main course of salmon was slightly over-cooked. Although I've had that a lot in France. The setting is lovely and the lady of the restaurant very pleasant. Book for a simple but very good value meal.

It is really hard to find anything negative about this restaurant especially if you're staying in Le Canon or driving through. The service is excellent an ALWAYS with a smile. The garden out at the back is really sweet and with the giant palm trees above you could almost be in the Caribbean! I had the 25 euro menu, which is excellent value for three courses. Lovely fresh food and interesting dishes. Highly recommended!

We have eaten there twice now and have been pleased both times. The service is excellent and the food very good for the prices charged. There's a nice little garden at the back. Would go again.

Sitting on the terrace was lovely and the young three kids could walk around. The lunch menu was priced very well and the food was good. My dish moussaka was the best at the table I think.
