Le Royal Barbizon - Reservar uma mesa

Sat down at a table about 9 pm on a Sunday night, 7 July. Staff member came past me and said “oui” and stared at me like I shouldn’t be there. I was told dinner was not available. I asked if we could have a drink. He said “oui” and continued staring at me like I had to order right there without offering a menu. I stared at him in disbelief. He stared back. The staff member was disgracefully rude. We got up and left. I hope the owners read this and investigate.

We wanted a light lunch and that is what we got. A delicious Salade Niçoise (14 Euros) which was fresh and hearty and a Brochette Poulet (13 Euros 50) which was also tasty and large. We sat inside because it was cooler but also because all the tables outside had smokers at them. We enjoyed the bustle of service inside. The waiting staff were friendly and though busy did not keep us waiting. I would recommend this place for lunch.

Worst experience ever. The owner charged €21.3 more, without careful calculation. BUT he yelled at me, and got me out of the restaurant, in a very unpolite way. I strongly felt the discrimination and unfairness from this town. Even though he gave me back €15 back, I felt so disappointed. If you want to be respected, please don’t come here ever ever again. If you are expact, you’ll be discriminate too

Very good set menu. Delicious food. Friendly owners. The meal was good solid French cooking but the quiche as a starter was one of the best I have ever tasted. Perfect.

This place is the only one you can stop by in Barbizon. It’s pricey and low quality. The waiters are impolite and the restrooms are really dirty.
