Le Safran - Reservar uma mesa

We ate at this restaurant during our stay at the Miramar Hotel. We were highly disappointed. Although you make a reservation, no table is allocated to you. The result was, despite staying in the hotel, we were told that we would have to wait at least 45 minutes before they could allocate a table (which was reserved). In fact, it is first come first served, including for people not staying at the hotel, This is totally unacceptable for a 5* hotel. During the sea food buffet, plates and tea spoons were not available , or if plates were available, they were hot, which is not appropriate for a cold buffet. We ate here when staying at the hotel in which the restaurant is located. The food was dreadful, particularly the vegetarian option. I would have hoped for better at a low grade motorway service area. The service was surly and generally unhelpful. All in all, a dismal experience. For a hotel which promotes itself as of top quality it should be doing a lot better on the restaurant front.

We ate at the hotel on Sunday when they offer a buffet of sea food. Everything was very tempting and as a result we probably ate too much! While the price is not inexpensive, it is not excessive with the view from the deck overlooking the sea and the variety of the oysters, clams, langoustes etc. on offer.

Good view and decent service, but food was lacking in variety and quality. Wine choices are also O.K., but, again, nothing special. Just wasn't a fine dining experience, in my opinion.

Excellent dining room and view however the food was expensive and really not good at all! The seafood linguine was simply awful. Tasteless and overcooked.
