Le Select Montparnasse

visited here on the first night, as we wanted to eat early, before our night trip. more efficient service. we were asked if we were going to a show, I suppose we could be served quickly. we were served as fast as I suspect they wanted to release the tables. the tables were in an acceptable distance (in contrast to la rotonde, where we left before eating because they were wange of jowl.) our meal arrived quickly. I had scallops with gnocchi and my man had lamming. my meal was steaming and made me wonder if it had been quickly recovered. the scallops were ok, but the court was quite bland overall. my man enjoyed the awake. we had drunk to end what was in order. 50cl red wine cost 24,50 € mains...

Perfect example of the wonderful and slightly less wonderful aspects of the Parisian café experience. We stopped for breakfast on a chilly morning. Our bread, butter, jam, and coffee choices were well prepared and presented by slightly-starchy but courteous servers who were a bit challenging...to flag down at check time. And I would expect nothing less staff at the traditional cafés adhere to a standard of “formal efficiency” without small talk and I kind of love them for it.

we enjoyed our dinner at le select am montparnasse. we had a 7:30 o'clock res for a Wednesday night and didn't need it. the host and our waiter were both very attentive. I had the brath chicken and my wife had seabark, served with a...side of arugula salat and pommes. we have shared a bottle of cote de provence rose. good eating and weeping at a fair price. great living neighboring, and the restaurant was much more busy at 8:30 when we were gone.

my partner and I thought here was drinks before we went to dinner, and we enjoyed it so much that after dinner we came again for drinks! the decor is beautiful and there is a large selection of different drinks available!

to the story. eating is unusable and too expensive. go over the road to la coupole. many history great eating
