Kudos to Giessbach for running a fully vegetarian and vegan gourmet restaurant! The meals my partner and I had at Le Tapis Rouge were pleasing to the eye and tasted delicious. It was lovely to savour classic French dishes, including a creamy and spicy bisque flavoured with seaweed, not lobster or other crustaceans. As a vegetarian, I haven’t had much of that. The vegan spinach stuffed crêpes were very tasty and satisfying. I can definitely recommend Le Tapis Rouge and I think the food will be well liked by most, if not all, visitors. I can also strongly recommend staying overnight at this beautiful hotel with stunning surroundings.
